Executive Assistant, age 50, SF Bay Area

“I have been plagued with urinary tract infections since my early twenties. Once symptoms appear, I am asked to come in for an appointment, provide a urine sample, sometimes wait for the urine to culture, and then wait for the physicians to prescribe the meds. During this waiting period, I am having frequent, painful, bloody urination which only stops when I start taking the meds. Having non-prescription access to the SuperMannan pills is a God-send. Once I have the symptoms, I take the medications and within hours, my symptoms are all gone. Period. No phone calls, no stress.”

I have been plagued with urinary tract infections since my early twenties. The challenging part of the infection is getting quick access to medication once the symptoms appear. In traditional medicine, a phone call to my doctor’s office often results in long delays in receiving the much-needed medication (usually antibiotics). Most physicians are reluctant to prescribe medications for the UTI because they don’t want to over-medicate patients. I am asked to come in for an appointment, provide a urine sample, sometimes wait for the urine to culture, and then wait for the physicians to prescribe the meds. During this waiting period, I am having frequent, painful, bloody urination which only stops when I start taking the meds. In most cases, I bypass the wait and go directly to the emergency department for immediate relief. In most cases, I get a phone call or email from my doctor telling me that indeed I do have an infection and by the way, here’s the prescription. At that point, I’ve probably been taking the meds from the emergency department for at least one day.

Having non-prescription access to the SuperMannan™ pills is a God-send. Once I have the symptoms, I take the medications and within hours, my symptoms are all gone. Period. No phone calls, no stress.

This medication should be marketed to women the same way that non-prescription medications are available for yeast infections. We are women, we know our symptoms and we can be trusted to take the proper medications. If I were ever in a position where the medication did not relieve my symptoms, I would know to seek medical attention from a physician or hospital.
